A Coastal Garden inspired by the resilient plants that have adapted to the harsh conditions found along the strandline of the UK’s shingle beaches, here just beyond the normal reach of the waves a few plants will seize the opportunity to form a row of vegetation, a risky life where one storm too many could eradicate them forever.

As our weather patterns become more extreme, our plants need to be tougher, coastal plants are underrated and many are not commercially available, but their abilities to withstand drought, salt water immersion and strong winds is of huge value.
